One of every five students who files the FAFSA is selected for review in a process called verification. A comment will appear on the front page of your FAFSA Submission Summary if you have been selected for verification.
Aid applicants who are selected for verification must provide additional documentation to 小猪视频官网 before they can receive a financial aid award. Specifically, students selected for verification must either use the IRS Data Exchange to complete their FAFSA or mail us their 2023 IRS Tax Return Transcript. The Verification Worksheet must be completed and signed by the student and at least one parent (2 pages). This form should be returned to 小猪视频官网鈥檚 Financial Aid Office when you have completed it. Both the parent and independent (on the FAFSA) students are required to submit proof of non-filing from the IRS if a 2023 federal tax return was not filed.
